- Philip, I really must go to Belgium tomorrow
morning. Can you reserve a plane or train ticket
so that I will be in Antwerp at 12h00 am.
- Of course Sir.
- If you can't find anything, leave it to me.
Does that present you with any difficulties ?
- None at all, sir. Moreover, I'm already acquainted
with the town.
- Get your luggage ready for a two-day stay. How
long does it take to get there?
- About four hours. We will have to leave at 8am
to be on the safe side.
- Also make a hotel reservation for both of us.
- Very well, sir.
- This evening I don't need you any longer. I'm
having dinner at home. Be here at 7h45am.
- Well Sir, as agreed, I did some shoping and
the fridge is full.
- Perfect. Good night Philip.
- Good night Sir, see you tomorrow.

I go along to Service Prestige in order to check
out the car : cleanliness, tyre-pressure, oil
levels and windscreen-whippers.......everything
is checked out. At the same time, the operations
department checks the itinerary and books a hotel
for two. I pick up my gasoline credit-card which
is also used for paying tolls, facilitates the
calculation of expenses and saves me the bother
of advancing money. Everything is O.K. for tomorrow.
11pm.
In the garage, the 400 hp of the V12 are biding
their time waiting for the chance to express themselves. |
